The museum was established in 2002 by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. And opened on March 28, 2002. Thai Ancient Art Museum aims to exhibit, disseminate and carry on with the ten groups of ancient Thai art by collecting the pieces that there is value from the learner's elaborate creations that convey a unique culture of art.
Thai spirit as well as a learning center for ten groups of craftsmanship, which is a national treasure for the future generations. Which guarantees that the beauty of ancient Thai art, such as the ten groups of craftsmanship, will not fade over time.

     The exhibition building has two floors. The first floor consists of works in Sheet Metal & Repousse' Decorated Work. This will see the dedication and energy to see why art can appear on large plaque. Modelling Work, especially the head of Khan, the traditional Thai art that is very beautiful and exquisite. For the second floor, exhibits a writer's work that conveys emotions combined with religious beliefs. Not only that, but what is interesting upstairs are the works of potters, the most outstanding works of plasterwork on the walls of the museum. There is also a love job. Exquisite works of fine art that will make us proud of being Thai and other mechanic work.
